Yes, congratulations! And what an impressive CV this young woman possesses. Just marvellous.

The engagement was announced yesterday between Prince Ludwig of Bavaria (b.1982) and Sophie Evekink (b.1989).

A Dutch bride! Based on her brother Huibert's profile that is linked in the link above, it is clear that he is much older (54 vs 32-33 for Sophie) - and assuming that her brother Paul is the one working at PGGM, he is also quite a bit older: starting college (Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences) when his sister was only about 2 years old. They might very well have different mothers (in her case probably a Canadian mother? - her brother only identifies as 'Dutch' in the description on that website).

Her own LinkedIn-page provides an even more detailed overview of her study and work experiences (including working for the Office of the UN Secretary General) than could be highlighted in the Eurohistory article. It looks like both the future bride and groom are trying to make a difference in the lives of others that are less fortunate.

Huh? The link you quoted said he was born in 1982 and she was born in 1989 - that's only a 7 year age difference and puts him at 39-40 while she's 32-33.

I think it meant the brother is much older not Ludwig :)

Exactly. I was discussing her brothers ("based on her brother Huibert's profile (...), it is clear that he is much older" ... "her brother Paul (...) he is also quite a bit older"): one is in his mid-fifties and the other is most likely about 50 - which is why I mentioned that it is likely that they have different mothers.

What a handsome couple. I'm always getting English language cousins mixed up, but Harry is the first cousin three times removed of King Carl Gustav?
His grandmother is King Carl Gustav's first cousin so that makes Harry Carl Gustav's first cousin twice removed, Crown Princess Victoria's second cousin once removed, and Estelle's third cousin.

Is this a marriage between two men? Or?

I googled it and found this:

https://euro-royals.livejournal.com/3299786.html?thread=82471626

It is obviously in Russian, so read it like the Daily Mail - for the pics! It has a lot of them and of the happy couple.

Is Count Anton a first cousin of Prince Georg Friedrich, head of the Former Imperial house of Prussia?

Yes he is because Georg Friedrich’s mother, the late Donata is the sister of count Johann-Friedrich.
