The hatred for Andrew is palpable these days in the UK. The media would have a field day if he tried to do anything - even going to Windsor to ride and see his mother was criticised by the media and public
There always had to be a good prince vs. the bad prince and as Edward definately was good and Charles had to be the super-good one as the future king (after he was happily married), Andrew had to become the bad one and he surely did a good job himself for the media. Now that Charles is king, it's surely going Andrew vs. Edward, so there is no hope for him at all. In the UK.
But he must have lots of money. All that scheming with his job as trade ambassadour, his fortunate selling of his estate. his "entrances" sold through Sarah (and that is only what we know), plus his inheritance from his parents (after he already had inherited some money from the Queen Mum) - he must be well-off.
And there must be places in the world he could like to live. Where he could be a part of a community which doesn't care for what he did or what is claimed that he did and only looks at him to see if he fits. Maybe in Dubai, maybe two homes in Switzerland or Italy, one in the mountains and one at a lake like Maggiore, Como or Garda. He would be a gentleman, ex-officer who would fit right in there. Or in the Austrian Alps, lovely lakes there as well. Good food and an endless supply of great wines. I'm sure the late queen (who had such an enormous private estate from the revenue of the Duchy of Lancaster - which owns a third of London real estate AFAIK) took care of her son in a good way, especially after what she had to do to him as the souvereign. So he can afford to live in style somewhere the British media doesn't follow him. Invite his daughters and their families.
A bit like The Duke of Windsor or Prince Harry.
