The Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein Controversy 1: 2010-2022

We’re not even close to consideration of removing his titles and or taking him out of the line of succession. These accusations are just that, accusations. I think everyone is entitled to some form of due process where they can challenge accusations and put up a defense.

The Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein Controversy 1: 2010-2022

I am a lawyer but haven’t practiced in a while. I’ve certainly never been involved in a suit trying to obtain jurisdiction over a foreign national. I agree with Roslyn the complaint is well drafted. It is more than barebones but it has to be as a line of cases came out from US Supreme Court...

The Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein Controversy 1: 2010-2022

If jurisdiction is properly obtained over Andrew by the court and he refuses to appear he is in default. Usually as a consequence of a default the party admits to all allegations against him. Proof unnecessary.

The Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein Controversy 1: 2010-2022

At some point the complaint will appear on Google. Right now it would be readily available on PACER which is the federal court database unless for some unlikely reason it has been restricted. One needs a login and then pays a nominal fee to download the complaint. Rather than use My firm...

Names and Godparents for Harry and Meghan's second child

Before Archie’s birth I read they had Allegra picked out for a girl. This is the type of name I can see them going for Allegra Diana or Elizabeth or similar Or maybe Allegra Philippa. I also would not be surprised with Diana. Hollywood, which they are now, likes “statement” names rather...

Names and Godparents for Eugenie and Jack's First child

Eugenie’s IG post announcing her pregnancy featured baby booties with blue eyes and nose and mouth. Methinks this was a big hint. I still think one of the Queen’s grandchildren will honor her or Philip with first name choice. Maybe it will be Eugenie.

The Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein Controversy 1: 2010-2022

Even if Andy were a bigger fish it would cause a real diplomatic mess to charge him and seek his extradition. It will be interesting to see how his brother and nephew treat him when they are on the throne. He might want to start planning what his retirement post Elizabeth will look like. I...

The Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein Controversy 1: 2010-2022

Ghislaine won’t be speaking up without a sweetheart deal, and such a deal would depend on the fish she brings in. Andy may be one of those fish but he is likely not the biggest and not the one the prosecutors find most interesting. But who knows??

HGD Couple expecting their first child

She is likely uncomfortable but this can all depend on how she is carrying. I’m guessing the baby has dropped by now which happens in the last month for first timers.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex to Step Back as Senior Royals: January 2020

Has anyone ever seen a formal statement from the Queen where she refers to members of her family by anything other than their titles? The “Harry and Meghan” reference had me shocked. My understanding is the Queen can remove the HRH with the stroke of a pen. Removing the peerage would take an...
