The Swedish collection is already quite extensive comparatively, but I can definitely see Victoria pulling this one off. She seems to like the taller tiaras.
However, it's the Belgians that need it the most.
With respect back, any monarch will most likely only be concerned with the status of their own descendants and not their extended cousins. If King Charles did have an issue with the "sexist mechanisms" of the current LP, then he certainly would only limit changes to Charlotte going forward and...
Except there is no mechanism in place for the others to claim any sort of title, whereas with Archie and Lilibet it was already their birthright under the existing LP. Something that King Charles is very unlikely to change for the future.
My original response was to point out that the issue of titles for the people you listed has already been long decided. Titles aren't created out of whole cloth on a whim. Especially for a monarch like Charles who is keen to reduce the royal family size, not enlarge it.
It was only natural...
I'm not sure if the source below is allowed in this thread or not, so apologies if it is not considered credible. I use it as it contains quotes from Princess Anne and Zara re: titles.
It has long been established that Princess Anne's first husband turned down the offer of an earldom, which...
A shockingly large number of wealthy people demand free or discount goods and services on a regular basis.
Some of them seem to think that an association with them alone is worth the cost to a business. Which can be true in some cases, but completely off base in others.
This video would imply that she was, at the very least, a willing participant in final stages of designing the aigrette. She and the jeweler seem to have a good relationship, but maybe she was just going along with what Albert wanted.
Beatrice looks absolutely lovely today! I'm so glad to see her in something a little more traditional and less statement. Her fashion sense has truly matured over the last few years.
No. It doesn't make sense, and Albert doesn't seem the type of monarch who would be okay with his wife wearing loaner jewels. Especially when she doesn't usually go for larger pieces.
I've always suspected that he has gifted Charlene a rather nice and large jewel box over the years, but she...
On the contrary, I'm a solid monarchist, which is why I think some of the recent choices being made have hurt the various royal families in long term popularity.
The BP balcony during TTC looked downright barren, which is a shame when having the extended family around for a few celebrations...
Why not just do away with royal families entirely then? Since the trend seems to be 'slimming down' monarchies, then slim them all down completely and have only elected governments and heads of state going forward. Then there's no fuss or muss about who is royal and who isn't, because no one...
Oh come now. You cannot seriously argue for a private life for people who write tell-all books, run podcasts, do the talk show circuit and attend award ceremonies on a regular basis.
If Harry and Meghan truly wanted a private life, they would seek respectable, lucrative employment with...
