Who knows the truth, I think we shouldn't judge or speculate until we know (if we ever do) what happened. Its possible the split from Lindsay was only announced once his relationship with Harriet was serious and likely to become public knowledge.
 
I hope that Lindsey and Peter’s split was amicable, they were at the Coronation Concert together this time last year!
I do feel a bit for his girls as they seemed in photos to be close to Lindsey and now he’s already introducing them to someone else.
 
Peter certainly doesn't waste any time! Things seem to have moved very quickly.
 
She’s around loads. She was hanging out with Mike and Peter at a golf thing the other week. She lives in the area and is often to be seen with former in laws. She had a new partner too.

Yes I am talking about Autumn.

Peter perhaps is maybe like his dad in that department. Peter and Zara didn’t seem affected. They maybe be used to people having various partners.
 
I think Alison referred to Peter moving on quickly after his former girlfriend Lindsey (the break up was only made public a few weeks ago and this is the second time he is bringing his new girlfriend around publicly), not his ex-wife Autumn.
 
But Autumn HAS new partner (Donald Mulyan) and lives near her-in-laws.

As far as that "Peter is like his dad" - they told the marriage had broken not because of the betrayal.

It looks like you are still missing what Fig Tree is trying to communicate. It is not about Peter moving on to another partner after his divorce (which he did a long time ago - dating Lindsay Wallace / just like Autumn is indeed dating someone else) but about changing that 'new' partner for yet 'another one' (Harriet Sperling) - very shortly after the break-up with Lindsay (not Autumn) was made public.
 
Yes, that was my point too - he's only just broken up with Lindsay, and now he's being seen out in public with someone else, and even taking the children out with her too. Autumn also met a new partner very soon after the divorce, but she's been with the same person ever since.
 
I always think using the word partner infers a long term relationship, but lots of people go out with different people, some never settle down with one some see a few before they settle down. We do not know the status of the length of this friendship, we do not know when the romance with LIndsey was over. As someone pointed out it was possibly only leaked once he wanted to be seen publicly with this young woman and didn't want to cause embarrassment for LIndsay.
As for introducing them to children, I would say that is for the families themselves to decide, they know their own children.
The way he is photographed with a young woman anywhere he is seen publicly e.g the polo. surely it is better for the children to be aware rather than them seeing photographs in a newspaper/ magazine or friends telling them. he is not actually doing anything wrong. We have no idea what went wrong in any of the relationships, we can only speculate.
 
It is one thing for him to date various women. But if they are closely involved with the girls, as they seem to be, and then disappear again, it will inevitably affect them.
No, he is not doing anything wrong, but for the children (Harriet's daughter as well) I hope it works out this time.

What we know is that at Christmas he was still with Lindsay, because he wasn't at Sandringham but was pictured at a supermarket in Scotland with Lindsay.
The relationship with Lindsay did seem serious, because she was at certain royal events such as the jubilee & coronation concerts and Ascot.
