The empress kept on wearing black since the death of her husband, Emperor Karl in 1922. I believe this picture was taken at the wedding of Otto and Regina
This is not Empress Yi Haewon, but it's Yi Panja (aka Banja), Crown Princess of Korea, born Masako, Princess Nashimoto. She was married to the last Crown-Prince of Korea and lived from 1900-1989
in the brithsh pathe pics I can see a lot of ethiopian royalty, can someone identify who is who...for example the children and sons and daughters in law of the empreror?
It's not the same.....well at least I don't think so, but duchess Sophie von Württemberg DID wear a star tiara for her wedding. Not at the actual wedding but at the pre-wedding ball..
Pics from "Point de Vue"
I the movie there is a prominent role for a certain Princess Shamira/Samira, who is supposed to be a cousin of the shah. Can anyone tell me more about her or is she fictional?
One face two persons
It strucks me that HM Queen Elizabeth II resembles her paternal grandmother, Queen Mary more and more....but when she was younger she looked a lot like her maternal aunt, Countess Rose Granville, sister of the Queen Mum.
Too bad the wededing was not so glamourous as the Danish one. Of course it's understandable, with 11.th of March in our memory, and cause of the wether....still...... too bad...
She's wearing the Prussian diamond tiara! (the one her mother in law wore as well for her wedding day)

The wedding of Friso and Mabel can be seen in the US...Well, only if you have DishNetwork (and the second dish) ... which offers BVN ... DirecTv does not have BVN.
(saw this remark and the Benelux message board, thought it might be interesting for some of us)
