I'm a Christian and what MM wore in Nigeria doesn't offend me – great for beach wear – however it was highly inappropriate for the occasions, especially wearing a virtually backless and sideless dress for a school visit.
The new portrait of The Princess of Wales on Tatler is just plain awful; bears absolutely no resemblance facially to her at all beyond the hair colour.
I've seen Beatrice and Eugenie at garden parties before, but never Zara (and Mike) and Peter. I think it's wonderful they were there supporting William. And really the three girls added fantastic glamour (and relative youthfulness) to the occasion.
This is at Princess Anne's Garden Party. Doesn't she look like the late Queen!!! (The picture where she's bending over).
Princess Anne hosted a Garden Party for Not Forgotten Association
I don't take much stock in polls, but i do wonder about the 13% who hold a negative view of Catherine, The Princess of Wales. I can't see any negativity in her at all; a loving wife and mother, highly supportive to the Monarchy, also with her own causes, mostly children; perhaps she's too...
I can remember Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie appearing at least one Garden Party, and I also recall Lady Ella Windsor (as she was then) being invited to a specific State Visit Banquet, can't remember which one, i think it was because she spoke the visitors' language. I have always been of the...
Very succinct and I agree completely. I would have a lot more respect for H&M if they ditched the royal titles, certainly as it looks as though their complete future is in the USA where titles are not part of the fabric of American life.
"Sophie seemed a little bit ill at ease at first but it went well once she was chatting with the various soldiers."
Probably concerned about conversing in French.
It looks like he doesn't want to. That's a shame, imo, but it's his perogative. I think men look great in kilts, not all of them perhaps, but I believe William would. He and Prince Edward look a lot alike and Edward always looks fine in a kilt.
It does seem unfair to Harry. Royals meet famous people all the time for one reason or another. And none of the Royals have been gifted, to my knowledge, with the ability to look into a person's soul to see if that person should be avoided. And it seems to me, looking on from afar, that many...
I'm much the same age as Diana, Princess of Wales. I always vaguely knew about the Royal Family, QEII, her husband, children, mother and sister; that was about it. There was a photograph of Diana on a magazine with her wearing an aubergine coloured cardigan with white spots; being an avid...
Such shocking news. And i don't care if we don't see anything at all of the Princess for the next couple of months, or however long it takes, as long as she is well after it; she should have all the time she needs to completely stay out of the public eye. I thought it was shocking enough the...
I have been a graphic designer for five decades, and spent two of those doing professional calligraphy – by hand – as well. The logo is a poor design, too complex for what(ever) it stands for, the name 'American...' will be hard to remember and the font used for the name looks as though it has...
Oh rubbish! All photos are manipulated to a certain degree; i'm a retired graphic designer having worked on hundreds of thousands of images over the years, and they're always worked on to produce the best possible image. Looks perfectly ok to me. It's possible there may have been several taken...
There were some very lovely touching photos to go with the article of the speech she made about Prince Edward:
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh visited Headingley Stadium
A good bit of research, Iluvbertie; just goes to show that those reporters who write articles saying that the rest of the RF are stepping up in the absence of the King and Princess have not done their due diligence.
I wasn't quite sure where to put this observation, but came to the conclusion this thread named 'The Popularity of Royals in their own Country' might fit the bill. I was skipping through youtube channels and found one which i believe was called TalkTV which i presume is British. There were a...
