    The 2020 accessory: the mask

You got this right. Masks can be so cool but they should engage different styling choices. She's great!

"The Crown" (2016-Present) - Netflix Drama Series on Queen Elizabeth II

I always thought that the chill between the Queen and Thatcher had most all to do with lifestyles. Thatcher did not enjoy Balmoral at all. I always assumed the lack of comfortable heat, fustiness and isolation were her sticking points. JMO from things I have read over the years.

    Princess Charlene's Fashion and Style Part 17: June 2019 - November 2020

All of this and the hair is great on her. I actually think the dress is completely in her wheelhouse. It's not so much a recognizable Jenny Packham. JMO

    Queen Letizia's Daytime Fashion Part 16: July 2020 - May 2021

I love this. And she certainly has the ankles for a lace up.

Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of A Modern Royal Family

I think it also likely that the bride gets to have asks for and against. As in wants "something smaller," "something simple," "all white stones," "linear rather than floral," "Pearls if possible," or along those lines.

Fashion for the little and teenage royals Part 15: June 2020 - May 2021

I like both of the looks. And I love that their tastes are obviously diverging and that it is being allowed.

Wedding of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi: July 17, 2020

I loved Bea's gown. And JMO but I think it was intended to look like the original dress - very vintage. If you look at the olde photos, the bottom piece was there originally. And I thought it fit wonderfully. I think she may not have been fully shoulders back in every photo - but that dress...

The Duchess of Cambridge's Daytime Fashion Part 28: January 2020 - October 2020

In the US some would call this a ditzy print and others a Liberty Print. Are those terms common elsewhere. In addition to the common "floral."

    Meghan and Harry:The Real Story

I don't buy this. One is summoned to the Queen - the Queen does not come to you because you are spatting.

    Princess Charlene's Fashion and Style Part 17: June 2019 - November 2020

I'd guess the somber has to do with ongoing Covid, and all the recent deaths. And those children are nonplussed with the bonfire (off topic). ;)

    Meghan Misunderstood

I don't want us to get off on other royals but... I just think everyone, not least royals tends to see themselves positively and portray themselves that way to others. It's rare that I have a conversation with anyone that they admit they acted an entitled ass a bit, that their gifts outweigh...

General News for the Cambridge Family Part 3: March 2017-September 2022

That's a wonderful photo of Charles. And Mike was quite groovy back in the day.

General News about the Sussex Family, Part Two: April-August 2020

I continue to be astonished at just how little I care about them these days. I wish them well, but they are just not that interesting. At some point it became difficult to identify with all the things that made them unhappy. I have my own struggles, and none of them are very interesting...

Anne, Princess Royal Current Events 6: Jan 2014 - Aug 2023

I was really well written and the photos were refreshingly not the same old same old. The photo of Anne and Liz at a state dinner (Her Majesty is in green) surprised me because Anne is actually broader than her Mom in that one! It was exactly what I needed yesterday afternoon. Go read it if...

    The Duchess of Cambridge's Eveningwear Part 10: November 2019 - October 2021

That green dress photographed really well. Making it a great choice for the venue. I get it that y'all don't love all the green, but she is one of few that really rock that color. And I am too, so I have bias. Poor green get such a bad rap. Personally, I think if you are going to do a...

The Duchess of Cambridge's Daytime Fashion Part 28: January 2020 - October 2020

Fit is questionable. Lots of gaping and wrinkles coming from the car. The fabric looks stiff - and might be causing most of this? Lots of sections and buttons fighting the visuals here. The style would be OK if I were not so distracted by the fit.

The Duchess of Cambridge's Daytime Fashion Part 28: January 2020 - October 2020

I enjoy when she wears something a bit more kicky and fun. I get it that she has decided to dress like a future queen, but she's not that age or station yet. This frankly made me smile because it is updated. I need smiles these days. It may be unfair of me to rely on royalty to amuse...

The Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein Controversy 1: 2010-2022

An FYI, for what it's worth. The story on US CBS network this morning was that Andrew has gone back on his word. And that these are hard days for Her Majesty. CBS usually fawns all over Royalty.

    Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie's Fashion & Style Part 10: May 2018 - May 2020

I think the hair color also has to do with the lighting (it is wretched) plus her hair always darkens a bit in winter. She looks more serene than ever!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex to Step Back as Senior Royals: January 2020

I give them more credit. I think they do see this as the way forward for royals. And I do think it was time for change. Harry forced that. So moving forward... I agree that they will fail to balance public attention and the privacy they want. For one reason. They can't control the...

Duchess of Cambridge Jewels 3: January 2016 -

That description is horrendous. Sparking crystals? Must be the marcasite/fake marcasite? Why not call it that? Ot they could mean the ruby is set within a sparkling crystal. To me, that looks a lot like a doublet. Some kind of ruby matrix as a thin slab with faceted quartz on top of it...
