There are more pictures of Victoria's participation of the 15 year jubilee of the Children's Diabetes Fund here: http://www.barndiabetesfonden.org/15.htm
I agree. I don't know about the rest of you, but I just love fashion. And if I was a Crown Princess it would be very hard not to get caught up in having the lastest designers clothes and shoes. CP Princess is certainly not the best dressed royal, but she is one of the most hard-working ones. And that is what is really important, especially to her country. Although, I still wish she would get some news clothes that suit her better and cut/highlight her hair.Larzen said:I think she looked very good today.
A well fitted and feminine jacket in a bright color
No Ponytail
Skirt
Stylish shoes (She really needs some new shoes. I cant belive there are women that dont like to go shopping for shoes )
I dont mind the choker accually.
Lena said:I´ve found something interesting in BUNTE...Anne Hathaway (the princess diaries) said in an interview ( http://www2.onunterhaltung.t-online.de/dyn/c/24/70/43/2470436.html ->german):
Haben Sie eine bestimmte Prinzessin, die Sie mögen?
Im Film haben wir uns an Prinzessin Victoria von Schweden orientiert. Sie ist einfach zauberhaft, sieht gut aus und ist beliebt. Ansonsten kenne ich mich leider nicht so gut mit Königshäusern aus...
Do you have any certain princess you like?
In the movie we were/have oriented towards princess Victoria of Sweden. She´s simply enchanting, looks good and is popular. Besides I´m not really familiar with Royal houses...
Are we really surprised by this?
A little plea:
Very reasonable. I believe I said this before. But nobody listens to me anyway...
... almost looks like her grandmother back there.Yennie said:http://<img src=/

A real Rembrandt for Daniel?! Well, as we know, Victoria is more than thankful that at least one guy dares to date her...so maybe she thinks this is worth a real Rembrandt If Danne would know the painter and would appreciate the present is an other questionmixer2002de said:Maybe she looks for a wedding present...
An Audi instead of a Mercedes...never!As a car i would prefer Audi
Thanks for the lovely pictures, Lena! Great to see that mother and daughter had a little time together like this, I hope they had fun and that they continue to meet for little outings like this every now and then. The painting they went to look at is "Minerva in her study" by Rembrandt - which has been the talk of the town ever since it came to Sweden in September. It hangs at the superb gallery Åmells Konsthandel, which is a good firm owned by Verner Åmell, with an excellent renommé. He managed to get the owner of this unique painting to agree to sell it in Europe (the current owner is from the US) - and in the small country of Sweden! A hughe thing in the cultural world. Anyway, the painting is now being showed at the gallery (throughout October, I think) - and then it will be sold. The starting price is $ 46 million...Lena said:Obviously Victoria attended an exhibition with her mother, the captions says it was in the Åmells gallery in Stockholm and that this gallery has shown 2 pictures of Rembrandt.
This wasn´t mentioned in the Royal calandar...so it seems it was private. Personally I wouldn´t mind, if Victoria would wear a skirt and boots to official duties as well!
Well thats expensive. Seems as this limits the number of biders.GrandDuchess said:The starting price is $ 46 million...
46 million Dollar as starting price?! I wonder which people would pay that (well, it´s of course a lot more after the auction). It´s an strange idea, isn´t it. I mean you can only "scan" this picture with your eyes. And when you possess it, you can´t see more than ppl, who have seen it an exhibition, or who own a copy. I hope the painting won´t go to an private owner, who would keep it locked in his house. Then this sum would make even less sense.GrandDuchess said:Thanks for the lovely pictures, Lena! Yes, nobel am approaching, Im hoping she is has already gotten herself a NEW grown up, elegant dress. I can just imagine Victoia, "Oh, its december and I dont have a dress!!! Hmmm why dont I just wear that incredible childish green lace dress I wore I Denmark and that made it look like I have no neck. Maybe I should also use the four button tiara, that would be original."Lena said:I´m moved to tears...the Victoria-paperdoll DOESN´T wear a ponytail, but it seems a bun and you can change the hairdo to "free hanging hair". And some of the outfits are neat...I really should send this link to the Royal court...I mean Nobel day is coming with rapid strides...and we all (who have watched Victoria´s style in 2004) fear a disaster.
Thank you Josefine
