I have an ancestor called Ernest August Platen Hallermund, who was born in Hanover on the 7 September 1674 and died in Hanover on the 14 August 1728. Ernest married Baroness Sofie Caroline Offeln at Herrenhausen Castle on the 11 March 1697. I have read thathe was the half brother of King George I of England. I also need to know the names of his children etc or more on him please. Is there a website where there are portraits of members of the Platen Hallermund family from Hanover.
