This is the first that I'm seeing queen Rania in kimono and IMO she looks fabulous! She seems to be born for wearing a kimono....
Crown Princess Victoria's gapta (gapta is Sami and kolt is Swedish) is of the kind worn by the Southern Sami. It was made for her visit to the inauguration of the Sami Parliament in 2009 by artist Lena Persson. The shoelaces were made by Wanda Dahlsten and the silver details were made by silversmith Randi Marainen.Victoria's suit from finnish Andiata yesterday was beautiful.
Today Victoria wears her kolt, traditional Sami outit, at the inauguration of Sametinget's eighth term.

Prince Daniel has Forest Finnish ancestry through his father, but is besides that generally of Swedish descent. Having Forest Finnish ancestry is not uncommon in the part of Sweden where his family is from since most of them started assimilating into the general population during the 19th century.Does Daniel have some Sami ties or were they just general Finnish ones? Or am I totally mistaken.
Mary and Frederik in traditional Faroese attire.
IMO among the best looking traditional attires in the Nordic countries:
