2014 is right up on the corner, so it's time for the 2013 Fashion review.

(I'll cover up only 2 adults: The Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Lalla Salma. I did for the other Crown Princesses at first, but it was too much and I was too busy to collect all of the clothes they wore this year, I'm sorry!. But I did make for the Little Royals like always!!!!)

Good to see P.Friso again, but...

Oh, that outfit i'll never forget, until at some point the memory somewhat fades and i think "well, how bad was it really...", and then i again see a picture and yes, it was really really bad...
Not only do i not "get" the outfit with the pants and the piece of cloth stuck unto it, but with the low neckline and deep cleavage it was also incredibly inappropriate for the occasion
 
Interesting, because I thought the combo on itself was perfect executed, V&R's trade mark. I see the link to the catwalk picture did not work, here is another link:

By the way: in the church the Princess had her shoulders wrapped in a stole. On the picture below you can see her olding a stole in her right hand:

It does look better on the model (and on the doll) maybe it's the hair that balances the whole thing out or maybe the color is better....but Mabel's outfit us still horrid, but hey, at least it gaves us a sure pick for "worst dress" lists for the next 10 years (at least) :lol:

For me it just goes to show that not everything a designer makes is suitable for every occasion (or will we see Mabel wearing this http://www.viktor-rolf.com/media/cache/16/36/163603274b30a230b6402bb3b651ff13.jpg this year :)

Her hair looks fabulous! Not liking her dress... It looks flimsy and too short.
 
a little short bu not bad white is good color for Maxima.
the hair is lovely.
 
I am coming to the conclusion that for some posters if you love Maxima enough, anything is forgiveable.

NO!

This is a fashion thread and if it is bad it is ok to say so. It doesnt mean we dislike her - I certainly don't - but be realistic.

A white cape dress on a woman over forty which is short - it is not a good look.

What she looks good in is colour - the more the better! Vibrant, lively, matching her personality. A washed out superman outfit is a no-go for me.
 
I actually like the white/cape outfit. I think it looks refreshing on her.
 
Does anyone have another picture? This one is not at a good angle, her face is funny, and she's kind of twisting/turning, so I can't really tell what the outfit looks like.
 
I think I like it. I don'tt like the shinyshoes. They look cheap. Love Maxis citrines
 
What is wrong with her, lately she is dressing to young for her age, this is so off.........to short, thin fabric from what I gather the way the dress moves, a cape? This is not an appropriate dress for her at all. Remember the gown she wore to the wedding recently, it was really very low on the back from one of the pictures that I saw, is she starting to dress to young and then for her position as queen? Just wondering!
 
It certainly looks like it! That would explain her beautiful, full hair. Good eye!
 
I don't think the white is so terrible it could be longer but that winged sleeve business is getting hairs on it enough now !! IMO overdone
 
Thanks for the info. It seems to be cutting into her flesh on the top of her bust line, but the colors are pretty. CPVictoria looks lovely, and so young!
 
So I'm watching a lot of docs on Kate and the fashion show she was in back in college is always brought up. I was just wondering in anyone else found that see through dress rather ugly? Everytime I see it and Kate in it I wonder how "that" is what made him want to be with her. The face is gorgeous the hair is chic but other than that it's an unattractive outfit. The white bra and black pants was a better look that night and more worthy of a "Kate's hott" remark.
