The King makes today a one-day visit in Östersund. During the morning the king visits Trygghetens Hus, a center for crisis management in Jämtland. The King will be informed of the county's crisis management work performed by the County Administrative Board, the Police Authority and Rescue Service Association. The visit ends with a tour of the premises and visits to the various stakeholders.
After lunch at the residence the King visits asylum accommodation in Grytan. There are about 300 refugees. During the visit, the King will be shown around the camp and informed about the activities.

The king said: "It is so nice with such moment where we can all come together and want to help in that way we can. We must take our part in it".

The day began at Trygghetens Hus. The house was started in 2006 and there interacts several social functions; Police Authority in Jämtland, Jämtland Rescue Service, SOS Alarm, the County Council in the form of ambulance and medical advice, Prosecution, Customs, the Swedish church and the County Administrative Board of Jämtland. The building has also The Swedish Prison and Probation Service in the form of provisional detention.
During a tour the King met representatives of the organizations who presented their activities and told about effects of working at the same house. After the visit, Governor Jöran Hägglund hosted a lunch at the residence in Östersund.
In the afternoon the King visited at the Migration Acency's reception center in Grytan. He met Emma Arnesson who runs the nonprofit Project Hej Främling (Hello Stranger) and Pernilla Arvidsson, manager at Grytan's refugee camp. The King learned about the Migration Agency's activities locally and regionally and how engaged people in the county are making great efforts to get the newcomers feel welcome.
