Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa's Current Events Part 1: June 2023- Present

I wish this couple were out and about more doing engagements - I don't follow the Jordanian royals as much as others, is this normal? do they not do that many engagements?

I feel since the couple got married that we have not seen that much of Rajwa.

Crown Prince Hussein watched the AFC Asian Cup 2023 final match between Jordan and Qatar at Lusail Stadium in Lusail, Qatar, on February 10, and afterwards presented silver medals to the Jordan team's players:

Rajwa's father has passed away. My condolences.

The Royal Hashemite Court mourns the passing of the father of Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, Khaled bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al Saif, may his soul rest in peace.

By His Majesty King Abdullah’s orders, the Royal Hashemite Court has announced three days of mourning, as of Sunday, 18 February 2024.

The Royal Hashemite Court expresses its deepest sympathies and condolences to Their Majesties King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, and to Al Saif family in these difficult times.

I assume Princess Rajwa's absence from royal activities is related to her mourning her father's death. Does anyone know for her long she will be absent for or when she will resume her royal duties?

Perhaps she'll return to them at the end of Ramadan?

I believe it had more to do with pregnancy (1st trimester can be really difficult) + father's ill health + the situation in the middle east. After that it was probably mourning + pregnancy (but she definitely got some respice at the beginning of her 2nd trimester). Now that she is due in 4 months max (they said this summer), I assume we won't see her with a "normal"/her own schedule before a few months after the birth of their child. She should rightfully enjoy this time since Rania is young and happy to continue with her heavier schedule.
To mark Princess Rajwa's 30th birthday tomorrow, April 28, a lovely new portrait has been released:

Beautiful portrait and I love how she re-wore her wedding earrings. They are so beautiful. I also didn't know she was fluent in French. I look forward to hear her speak it (maybe with the Belgians)

Princess Rajwa Al Hussein was spotted shopping in Amman.

I was actually hoping we would see photos of the couple given that it is their wedding day.

I would also like to see more of Rajwa, since her pregnancy announcement she hasn't done any royal engagements and was not even seen for major ones.

That's not how it's done in Jordan. Before she became Queen, Rania was barely visible and she has worked a LOT since then so I am not worried about Rajwa. Her time will come and she won't have the luxury to live her life in private ever again or hide away for months at time.

She honestly looks glowing. I don't know who their photographer is but he takes the best pictures of her !

I am surprised to see such a celebrity photoshoot from a middle East RF considering what is going on in the region at the moment. And strange not to see a couple picture on the Wedding Day.

The difference between Rajwa and Rania is that Rajwa married a Crown Prince and Rania married Abdullah when his uncle Hassan was the Crown Prince. Abdullah did not become Crown Prince until a few weeks before he became King.
