Argenteuil, in neglected state, is for sale again.
It was property of the Belgian Railways and the State offered it to King Leopold. After his death the domain was sold. Why was Leopold not offered one of the many properties of the Donation Royale? Why had the state to do this?

One can imagine what it looked like as a royal residence ,shame its in such a poor state.
It remains remarkable that the State did offer Argenteuil to King Leopold. Apparently the Government (custodian of the Donation Royale) was not able to offer Stuyvenberg, Belvédère, Ciergnon, Fenffe, Clémentine, Villers-sur-Lesse, Hertoginnedal or other domains from the Donation to the former King.
