He's the King

because her husband is not king anymore

Well, I desagree, in fact Reza is the current Shah, he lives in exile. If we accept that King Constantin is a King and his son Paulos is the crown prince and his wife Princess Marie Chantal the crown princess, why we dennay this tittle and consideration to the Kig of Iran and his wife?

I read in spanish magazines that they have problems with the money. They live in a modest house and Yasmine work as lawyer.
I can tell you that spanish report was wrong, when king died he left 23 billion dollars, other than those estates and properties they had in Switzerland, south of France,London and USA.besides they took all the royal jewels and antiques from past royal generations which were kept in Iran's central bank and didnt belong to them at all.they own islands in the ocean for their vacation and every year they take part in london's very expensive sales

Yasmine Etemad Amini was born in Tehran, Iran on July 26, 1968. Her family left Iran in the late 1970's in response to the turmoil that plagued the country.

how do you know this?[/QUOTE

fROM Farah Pahlavi's book, I'll try and find the exact quote.
in that case forget what you've read in her book, she's excellent in making up
stories.that bar or night club thing I mentioned was from her cousin's book about pahlavis.

princess yasmine and prince reza met through mutual friends in dallas airport, he was going to attend a conference and she had come to visit some relatives and they were both picked from the airport by the same mutual friend, according to reza pahlavi! princess yasmine pahlavi is the most common commoner to have married into a royal family, i mean common by attitude and character and not by any other standards...

Aha! I was right, they did meet in an airport. Why must you deny everything that the Empress wrote in her memoirs?

empress farah by nature has always been good at keeping up appearances, therefore her memoir must have been influenced by this, the history has yet to judge about it.however she has been such a great queen for her country that iranians in general consider her THE MOTHER OF NATION!

your judgment is based on her memories and that's been your only source.why I deny what she says is because about whatever she says or writes you'd at least see 20 other persons(not nessecerily against her) saying sth else.

it's true that iranians are strongly against the regim that's rulling them right now,but it doesnt make anyone want pahlavis back.99% of people hate them and I've never heard her as thr mother of nation,as far as she did nothing for iranians except to pinch up the royal jewels and antiques that didnt belong to her.(in iran the jewels royals use, belong to national bank of iran and not to the royal family)

1. the crown jewles of iran are still kept in iranian national bank in iran, the jewlery she took away are those given to her and made for her on different occasions during her reigning as an empress, even empress farah herself does not deny that there were imperfections within their system, but she along her late husband and many other noble iranians did a great deal of valuable work for iran, and for being wealthy, well ,any head of state would have that kind of life style, why should we expect the empress of one of most ancient and wealthiest empires on earth to be different!

it really gets on my nerves when some1 who knows nothing about a situation,a country and its issues, but is only a blind fan of a celebrity makes comments like this!
if you go to the jewelry part of the national bank in Tehran you'll see many blank places that only the photo of the tiara or necklace or whatever the jewel was is available, and those missing parts are the jewels Farah has taken with her and you can see that she's wearing them right now.
an example was the necklace she wore on prince Felipe's wedding, for so long the authorites of the national bank had thought the necklace was stolen during the reveloution as some people had invaded govermental places including the bank.but after 26 they found it on Mrs. Diba's neck!!!!
and according to the law of that time farah didnt own the jewels she had except those who'd been given to her from her maternal families or had recieved from foreign countries as gifts.

You sound like you know the situation through and through, and your quick judgement on assuming that Farah's memoirs were my ONLY resource shows that perhaps you're ONLY assuming these facts. By the way, your remarks are those of someone who choses to be biased. I don't know the true story, and I think every one tells me lies. But when Farah writes about how her very private son met his future wife, I will take her word for it because its better than the words of a stranger who hasn't even met him! So it only makes sense to believe her.

Yes, this are very nice pics. Concerning Princess Yasmine, do you know why she doesn't receive the tittle of Shahbanou?
Sol
no offence but she has hardly managed to behave like a PRINCESS, let alone a SHAHBANOU! from her interviews she comes across as a very shallow woman, she may be a good wife and mother but thats all she is good for, not fit at all for the position she has married into!
