Frederik, Mary and Children Picture Thread: Part 2

So young they looked.

I recall Alexandra's first visit to Greenland, that was as a part of a summer cruise with the Regent Couple.
She looked at the modest looking houses in the hamlets they visited and clearly got the impression that it was a poor community. Then she was invited inside for coffee and noticed a huge B&Q television set in the living room.
While there certainly are Greenlanders with social issues, quite a few actually and who are poor.
Many Greenlanders are also affluent!

There are about 600 meters of roads and streets in and around the capital of Nuuk, but it ain't cheap Korean cars you are seeing driving the roads there!

He is extremely good looking ‘normal human’…as in. It an actor whose looks pretty much puts them in the limelight. Does he take after his mother?

No. Both his parents were very attractive when they were young but Fred strongly favors his dad with the darker complexion and rounder face. Joachim is pretty much the genderflipped version of their mom.

Went looking for pictures. He is better looking than both of them. He does have his Dads face shape but his complexion isn’t really dark, it’s quite fair. At least when I hail from.

I meant more hair-wise as compared to the Queen's blonde-->auburn and Joachim's white-blond hair as a kid which Frederik never had, but Joachim also has the ability to look like he never sees the sun from time to time. I think Fred has a touch more melanin than that.

Maybe. I mean it’s Denmark. He certainly was darker as a child and seems to fair up. Which happens to people with perhaps a more natural inclination to a darker complex but live in Nordic countries. I mean his Dad was French. He looks more Danish than French. You could believe he was from any of the more Northern - western European countries: German, Welsh, Irish, Danish etc. Too petite to be a Dutch or Swede.

I have always felt he had his Swedish ancestors shaped head. Face shape, I never really compared it to his father. I just thought both brothers took after the Queen's side of the family.

I don’t know but he has proper George Clooney style looks. He just keeps looking better. There is a self portrait in the attic.

Let’s be honest, royals unless they are married in, don’t always have movie star looks. He does.

Wow! Kudos to the photographer for taking such a handsome photo of the Crown Prince!

I’ve been looking back at photos I’ve taken of Mary. Frederik too of course, though I always focused on Mary.

Lady-in-waiting Tanya is in some shots, as well as Mary’s friend Amber, amongst other Australian friends, and her sisters Jane and Trisha.

In fact, lovely people that they are, Jane and Trisha posed for me.

We spoke a bit. Trisha recognised me from the previous day down near the Harbour.

She had asked me a question and I sort of recognised her, but didn’t say so, then we came across each other the following day.

Happy times to look back on … 2011 and 2013. Time flies so fast.
