awww shes so sweet how long will she attend this school and when will she leave University (whats the age in Spain)

Leonor will study in this school until secondary, that is until she is 17. She will begin university studies when she finished secondary. And probably she leave university when she was 21 or 22 (but this is advancing events)

¡So cute!

Infanta Leonor is becoming a real beauty. She looks very pretty in the photos of the first day of school, like never before. And mom looks very pretty, too, with her nose and chin jobs. :flowers:

Leonor is such a happy and beautiful child. She seems to be ready to take on the world. What a wonderful family!

Very nice photos! Leonor's parents look like they are so proud of their little girl.

yeah, yeah, you're rigth in almost everything, less in what you said about her chin job, it never happened.:flowers:

Thank you for every one for these great photos!
I had a problem with my internet connection yesterday (it was in whole Finland) and I couldn´t get to the internet. You can guess how angry I was knowing that there would be these great photos of Leonor and I couldn´t get to see them. :bang:
Finally my connection works!

Leonor is a very special little girl. She is very beautiful, happy and confident. She has a lovely smile and obviously she doesn´t care about the cameras and the press. Her parents are very proud of her, they are such a great family. Letizia looks good.

In Spain there is infantile education (3-5 years), primary education (6-12) and secondary education. Infanta Leonor has begun the infantile education.

In the public centers, the infantile education and the primary one it is realized in schools and the secondary one in high schools. But in the education private and subsidized (public half, private half), many schools give from the infantile education to the secondary.
Pretty interesting. Thanks for explaining, lula.

Beautiful pic!!

Does the little angel goes with bodyguard/s to school?

aw, she's so adorable!!! Absolutely beautiful little girl, so happy and so natural around the photographers!!!

It must be surreal for Felipe to go back to his old school to drop off his daughter on her first day of school. Leonor is really a mini Sofia. And what piercing blue eyes she has!

Do6na Letizia said it to Ortiz when she thought about registering to his Leonor daughter in the school the Rosales. The moving bodies are a danger. And not only by the photographies that can be obtained but by the videos that many of them already have built-in. The children are very capable in the handling of these apparatuses and in the recreations her greater daughter could be object of some little appropriate recording. The measures that already had seizures the institution have seen reinforced with the preoccupation of Do6na Letizia whom it has demanded that disappears the moving bodies of the school.

Many schools prohibit the kids bringing camera phones to school, it has nothing to do with Leonor being a student at the Rosales. Leonor has a father too, she also has an institution behind her, she isn't a daughter with a single mother LOL . I guess only talking about Letizia can attract the attention to their blog.

It's ridiculous anyway that children are allowed to be in possession of (camera) phones whilst attending school. Parents can always get hold of them via teachers and vice versa when there is an emergency. Nowadays children suffer more and more from overstimulation, caused by mobile phones, computer games, internet etc and as a result they are unable to concentrate or focus on their learning tasks. A ban would be the most sensible thing, apart from Leonor having the right to grow up in the most undisturbed way possible.

I didn't bought that for a minute it is stupid to even think the princess would do something like that.

Letizia doesn't want anyone to record Leonor at school. Last year there was the same case at a birthday party. Letizia required that nobody recorded and took pictures of Leonor.

Isn't that a bit too much for her to request that sort of thing? She doesn't want Leonor so socialize just because she is a royalty?

What they want neither she nor the Royal House it is that anyone could approach the Infanta and do photos to her without permission, when the girl is in private spaces.

The girl is not a "clown", is an Infanta, but she is a 3-year-old girl, and has a rights. Nobody knows where they can end these photos. Only it is necessary to remember the problem of the Royal Family of Holland with a web of infantile pornography.

Where is the coherency between "socialize" and "mobile phones at school"? There is absolutely no reason for children to use mobile or camera phones at school as it only distracts them from socializing in the true sense of the meaning. As any other parent in their situation F & L will be concerned about the consequences of allowing phones on the school premises, it will probably lead to stupid attempts of Leonor's schoolmates to take pictures and try to sell those to the media. Leonor is only 3, by far not old enough to defend herself.

I am a teacher and cell phones are prohibited in all schools. Students can use them only after school. If a student is found using the cell phone it is retained by the principal until the parents come and collect it.

That is the same in my grandchildren's school system. They are extremely strict about this and after a few offenses, the student will receive suspension for two days.

I am not sure whether this standard in general applies to schools in european countries (Spain in this case) but I wish it did. I believe there is also a difference between state schools and private schools.

very young children (Infanta Leonor's age)

Desmienten que Doña Letizia haya exigido que no haya móviles en el cole de su hija - 20minutos.es

You need to read this article again . It actually said that the Casa Real told 20 minutos (Zarzuela was probably being asked) that the story was 'absolutely false'.

I heard that this standard applies to the Rosales (the school Leonor is attending) and has been there for a few years.

In that school there are children up to 17-18 years...
