On February 12, 1771 king Adolf Fredrik, Adolf Frederick, King of Sweden - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia , died after having eaten a large evening meal. He is most known in Sweden for having eating too many hetvägg (semlor) during his last meal and for being replaced by the government with a name stamp for signing royal documents, as he was considered being uninterested of ruling.
