Some things from the article:
Victoria revealed that she doesn't speak spanish, "just gracias"
Victoria and Daniel were served closely produced wine. Victoria couldn't of course taste it, and Daniel sipped a little politely.
At every building they visited there were snipers, Peru and Colombia have high criminality.
One can not plan everything, at the walk in Lima Daniel got some bird guano to his jacket.
Daniel treats Victoria like she was a queen.
This trip combined Victoria's interest in environment and sustainability and Daniel’s interest in entrepreneurship and one could see that they had been looking forward to this trip for a long time. It is of course hard to be away from Estelle, but they will have a lot to tell her when they come home, all from the children they have met to what they have eaten.
- We will absolutely taste some of the traditional courses, Daniel said.
Guinea pig perhaps?
- No, I don't know about that. You will have to taste that first anyway!
The traditional dish ceviche was served at the lunch with president Ollanta Humala and his wife. The whole trip was planned along Victoria’s pregnancy and fish dishes which normally are rarely served were now cooked. Adjutant Helena Sigurdsson is quickly there both with hand sanitizer and water bottles when Victoria needs them. But the biggest support she gets from Daniel. As soon as she shows even a little sign of tiredness, he is there with a helping hand. The joy about the baby combined to the exciting trip has created an incredible warmth between them. And certainly it is seen that they are living time of expecting. During the visit to H&M it isn’t latest model jeans or great lights that capture their interest. Instead of that, they spend a lot of time at the baby clothing department.
- Oh, how cute, says Daniel when he touches a baby body.
Then a six hour flight to Cartagena, there is 34 degrees Celsius and it feels like 100 percent humidity. But the crown princess doesn't complain. Instead she is the happy, spirited and curious Victoria we know so well. Victoria and Daniel really make a south-american success. Where ever they come, the people want to congratulate. A Peruvian journalist even asks if they have found out if it will be a boy or a girl.
- No, we don't know yet, we will see, Victoria says.
Last and final stop – Bogotá. The trip is coming to it’s end and with the whole week's impressions and a height difference of over 2600 meters, the crown princess couple is ready to come home. They would describe the trip anything else than tough but it is work. And it is lucky that there is two of them.
- Daniel is my big support, Victoria says before the flight takes them home to Haga.
Volvo Perú has put a video of Victoria's and Daniel's visit to Youtube some days ago. It has music from Abba.

Svensk Damtidning has 2 "behind the scenes" –article about the trip at this week's issue, they have told some of those things also at the articles of the trip. The Marshal of the Court, Karolin A. Johansson tells that the planning of this kind of trips starts about a half a year before the trip. Victoria wants to know whom she will meet and what she will do, as soon as possible. She wants to prepare herself well. In addition to Karolin A. Johansson, Victoria’s chambermaid/stylist Tina Törnquist and adjutant Helena Sigurdsson were with at the trip. Victoria has great trust on them, they are always close and help with everything.
Tina Törnquist plans the clothing at the trip in a good time before the trip. She takes care of the luggage and bags on the trip. If the weather is windy, the adjutant has an extra cardigan or jacket and often also a pair of comfortable shoes at her bag for Victoria. It may seem that Victoria is surprised when she gets gifts, but often leaving gifts to Victoria and Daniel is discussed and agreed in advance, because of the security reasons. Victoria may not receive gifts which are wrapped and the persons who gave gifts have been adviced to put gifts to the transparent cellophane. The adjutant takes care of all the gifts and they will go with Victoria and Daniel to the Haga Palace. At the trip Victoria got a little toy from the Peruvian students, among other things.
The program is tight and the royals have often no time to wash their hands, especially after having shaken hands of hundreds of people. Victoria and the adjutant have always hand sanitizers and moist tissues in their bags.
The royals don’t write autographs, but they, especially Victoria, have started to pose in selfies. Victoria doesn’t introduce herself with her name, she gives her hand and nods. Cheek kissing isn’t used at the official context, that is reserved for family and friends.
If there is time at the program, Daniel likes to have some small talk with the press, he is very easygoing. The breakfast is served at their suite and the SÄPO-guards are at the surrounding room. At the flight Victoria sits at the front, willingly beside the window, her favourite place is 1F.
